Properties: This product is a yellow powder (granules); density 1.37-1.40; odorless and tasteless; soluble in benzene, acetone, dichloroethane, carbon disulfide, toluene; slightly soluble in ethanol and ether; insoluble in gasoline and water; stable in storage.
Applications: This product is a non-discoloring, non-staining ultra-accelerator, mainly used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Its activity is about 10% lower than that of accelerator WILLING TMTD, and the modulus of vulcanizate is slightly lower. The critical vulcanization temperature is 121°C, and its delayed action is greater than that of thiuram disulfides and dithiocarbamate accelerators, with excellent anti-scorch properties. The sulfur dosage range is wide when using this product. It can be used alone or in combination with thiazole, aldehyde-amine, guanidine, and other accelerators, and it acts as an activator for thiazole accelerators. It has a delayed vulcanization effect in general-purpose (GN-A type) nitrile rubber. When used with dithiocarbamates in latex, it reduces the tendency of early vulcanization. This product does not decompose active sulfur and cannot be used in sulfur-free formulations.
Packaging: 20kg/25kg plastic woven bags, paper-plastic composite bags, kraft paper bags.
Storage: Should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Packaged products should avoid direct sunlight, and pallets should not be stacked on top of each other. Overlapping storage or temperatures exceeding 35°C may cause abnormal compression; shelf life is 2 years.
